This standard through girder bridge crosses Wingra Creek on the south side of Madison.
Built in 1932, this bridge consists of a single through girder span set onto concrete abutments. Small modern beam spans exist on either side, and are used as underpasses for the trail.
Good angles of the bridge are hard to come by, especially at high noon. It is unknown if this span was moved here from another location.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge was accessed from the trails parallel to it.
